Pulled Chicken Hot Chilli Puff

Savoury and Spicy Puffs with Ayam Brand™ Pulled Chicken Hot Chilli.

Ingredients

1 can of Ayam Brand™ Pulled Chicken Hot Chilli
2 sheets frozen Puff Pastry
60g frozen Green Peas, thawed
1/2 Yellow Onion, diced
1 TBS Japanese Mayonnaise
3/4 TBS Lemon Juice
1 Egg, beaten
1 tsp Sugar
Dashes of Black Pepper
White Sesame Seeds (optional)

Method

  1. Heat a frying pan, add some cooking oil and sauteed diced onion till slightly soften. Add in green peas and stirfry briefly. Season with sugar and pepper, set aside.
  2. Pour Ayam Brand™ Pulled Chicken Hot Chilli into a bowl, remove the chilli padi and cut into smaller pieces.
  3. Add in the sauteed onion and peas, mayonnaise and lemon juice. Mix until well combined.
  4. Remove puff pastry from freezer, cut each sheet into 4 pieces. And top each square with pulled chicken mixture, amount is sufficient for 5 to 6 puffs.
  5. Fold each pastry into triangle shape and seal the edges by pressing with a fork.
  6. Brush each triangle puff with beaten egg and sprinkle some sesame seeds.
  7. Airfry the puffs at 180degC for 10 minutes (or until golden brown). Flip the puffs and continue airfrying for another 3 minutes.
  8. Remove puffs from airfryer and they are ready to be served!
