Chawanmusi Steamed Egg

A simple and delicious dish that both adults and children love to eat。

 

Ingredients

Chawanmushi ingredients

  • 6 eggs from @chewscagefreeeggs
  • 2 tablespoon of pork ramen soup stock
  • 3 cups of water
  • Fried minced pork ingredients
  • 1 packet minced pork
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon corn flour

Method

Chawanmushi step

  1. Gently crack the top of the egg shell with a spoon, and cut around it with scissors until the egg shell can be removed.
  2. Pour the egg liquid into a bowl and clean the egg shells
  3. Use tinfoil to create a tinfoil container inside the egg carton
  4. Stir the egg , water and stock evenly, then filter
  5. Put the eggshells into a tin foil container and pour the stirred egg liquid into the eggshells
  6. Steam for 10 minutes

Fried minced pork step

  1. Fry minced garlic with oil, add in minced pork, fry until turn white
  2. Add in sauce and cook for 10 mins
