Fish Porridge

Prepare fish porridge with wholesomely cooked fish broth and Batang by Hai Sia Seafood. No additional seasoning required!!

Ingredients

  • 1 pkt Batang fish
  • 1 pkt collagen broth by Hai Sia
  • 150g rice ~ rinse
  • 550ml water
  • Chopped garlic
  • Canned braised peanuts
  • Ginger – 1 slice and some shredded
  • Spring onions

Method

  • Lightly wash and rinsed Batang
  • Cut into cubes
  • Marinate w 1/2 tbsp light sauce
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil, cooking wine, corn flour
  • Dashes of pepper
  • Add some chopped garlic & shredded garlic
  • Leave it aside for 30 mins
  • Washed the rice
  • Add 1 pkt of broth with 550 ml water
  • Let it cook, give it a light stir while cooking
  • Added in a slice of ginger when rice grains is cooked
  • Pan fried garlic till golden brown
  • Remove and keep the oil for pan frying the fish. Once done set aside
  • When the porridge is cook, add in the pan fried fish, add braised peanuts, sprinkle spring onions, fried garlic and shredded ginger ~ serve it hot
