Hong Kong Style Steamed Cod Fish

Ingredients

2 pcs of Cod Fish

Spring onions

Ginger slices

4 chopped garlic

Shredded ginger

 

Sauce

2 tbsp light sauce

4 tbsp water

2 tsp sugar

Method

  1. Rubbed cod with little cooking wine.
  2. On the plate, place spring onions and slice ginger and cod fish.
  3. Prepare to steam the fish for abt 10-15 mins.
  4. Heat up wok, stir fry the chopped garlic and shredded ginger till golden brown and set aside.
  5. Continue to use the same wok w 2 tbsp oil add in the sauce mixture, cook till bubbling.
  6. Once fish is cooked, pour away the water, remove the ginger & onions or you can also just transfer the fish to another plate.
  7. Pour the hot cooked sauce over, garnished it w fried garlic and shredded ginger.
  8. Ready to serve it hot.
