Pork and Cabbage Yakisoba

Delicious Yakisoba in 15 minutes!

Perfect for a quick family meal or simply to satisfy a sudden craving for stir fry noodles.

Pair it with your favorite choice of proteins and vegetables for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Yields 2 servings:

  • 1 Blue Dragon Yakisoba Noodle Kit*
  • 150g pork belly, cut into thin slices
  • 4 cabbage leaves, cut into bite-sized
  • 3 shitake mushrooms, sliced
  • Small piece of carrot, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 onion, sliced
  • 2 stalks spring onion

*Blue Dragon Yakisoba Noodle Kit comes with dried noodles, yaki soba sauce, fried shallots, roasted black sesame seeds and pickled ginger

Method

  1. Cook the dried noodles in a pot of boiling water for 5 minutes. Drain, rinse with cold water and set aside.
  2. In a hot frying pan, stir fry the pork belly and vegetables till pork is cooked and vegetables start to wilt.
  3. Add in the noodles and stir fry for another 1 to 2 minutes.
  4. Drizzle the Yakisoba sauce over the noodles. Continue tossing and frying to ensure the noodles are well-coated with the sauce. Once you smell a lovely caramelisation from the sauce, it’s ready to serve.
  5. Plate the Yakisoba and garnish with fried shallots, roasted black sesame seeds and pickled ginger.
