Pulled Chicken Rice & Roll

Easy peasy kid-friendly rice roll! Fried uncooked rice with garlic butter for extra fragrance.

Ingredients

Recipe yields 3 rice rolls (suitable for 4 adults)

  1. Japanese rice 150grams
  2. Water 220ml
  3. Garlic 1 clove (minced)
  4. Salted butter 10grams
  5. Ayam Brand Pulled-Chicken Mayonnaise
  6. Nori 1 sheet

Method

  1. Wash rice until the water is clear.
  2. Soak rice with water (220ml) for 25 minutes.
  3. Drain water into a cup and set aside
  4. In a pot, melt butter and fry garlic till fragrance.
  5. Add in rice.
  6. Pour the water (set aside earlier) back into the pot.
  7. Bring everything to a boil then simmer on lowest heat for 15 mins.
  8. Divide rice into 3 portions.
  9. Transfer and flatten rice on a bamboo mat.
  10. Add nori sheet on the rice.
  11. Add pulled chicken mayonneis.
  12. Roll the bamboo mat to create 1 rice roll.
  13. Repeat for the next 2 portion of rice.
  14. Remember to balance your meal with protein, greens and fruits 🙂
